The Metropolitan in historic federal hill

Metropolitan Coffeehouse & Wine Bar is located in Historic Federal Hill at 902 South Charles Street, a short walk from some of Baltimore’s most notable attractions: the famed Inner Harbor, our renowned sports venues – M&T Bank Stadium and Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and Federal Hill’s own Cross Street Market. (410) 234-0235

Opened in late September 2004, Metropolitan has already become a throughout the day and night fixture for residents of Federal Hill, Otterbein, Key Highway and all of the South Baltimore peninsula.  Open from early in the morning to late at night, seven days a week, Metropolitan is a full-service restaurant, coffeehouse and wine bar offering breakfast, lunch, dinner and after-dinner delights.

In addition to our great food, Metropolitan is one of Federal Hill’s coziest and friendliest places to enjoy a great glass or bottle of wine or premium beer, to surf the internet on our free wireless internet connection, to view the work of local artists and photographers, and to taste great wines and beers with friends in our second floor bar.  Metropolitan is also one of the area’s first completely smoke-free nightspots.
